Welcome to
BRIDGE
Biobank for Research and Inclusion
of Diverse Groups with Endometrial Cancer
What is BRIDGE?
BRIDGE is a community-informed initiative that aims to collect tissue – such as tumor, blood, cheek sample, and urine – along with clinical and lifestyle information, to define high-risk markers and understand disease progression and prevention in Black and African Americans with endometrial cancer.
The goal of BRIDGE is to improve Black and African American participation in endometrial cancer research in order to better understand the risks, causes, and optimal treatments for our particular demographic.
We are seeking any self-identifying
Black person, 18 years or older, who
have been diagnosed with and
treated for endometrial cancer
Meet the Study Lead!
Dr. Tiffany N. Jones is a gynecologic oncology fellow at the University of Washington. She is dedicated to improving the lives of Black people diagnosed with endometrial cancer through tissue-based research.
Why participate?
This study was designed by the Black endometrial cancer community!
Breakthroughs in endometrial cancer research depend on tissue-based research. By sharing samples (like tumor, blood, and urine), we boost our community’s voice in the research field and improve cancer outcomes.
Participants get directly informed of their genetic test results, plus exclusive educational seminars from The BRIDGE Study leaders!
We deeply value your time — you will be compensated for your participation.
